Cambodia Sells First Carbon Credit to U.S. Disney

Phnom Penh, July 21 – Cambodian government in collaboration with a Wild life Conservation Society (WCS) has sold the primary Carbon Credit of the Climate Change Reduction Project in the 292 690 ha untamed life assurance zone in Keo Seima, Mondulkiri region, to a U.S. firm, Disney, as indicated by a declaration by WCS yesterday. 

"The offer of such a first expansive scale Cambodian carbon credit is an imperative piece of our vision towards securing money related maintainability for ensured regions in Cambodia.
