China completes massive amphibious aircraft
GUANGZHOU, July 23 — China has finished creation of a gigantic land and/or water capable air ship that it arrangements to use to battle timberland fires and perform marine salvage missions.
The AG600 moved off a generation line in the southern city of Zhuhai on Saturday, in what flying spectators see as a point of reference for the nation.
The flying machine has a most extreme take-off weight of 53.5 tons and a greatest flight scope of 4,500 km, as per state flying machine producer Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
The AG600 is by a long shot the world's biggest land and water proficient air ship, about the span of a Boeing 737, as per AVIC delegate general supervisor Geng Ruguang.
